Privacy policy

There are two tables in the database, and no more:

• the counter table — the day in UTC, the country code, two Latin letters such as MA or US, and the number of taps that day for that country.
• the contact messages table — your name if you gave one, your email, and the text of a message you wrote yourself in the contact form: it stays in the site alone for the team to read, it feeds no advertising and no newsletter, and you can ask for its deletion at any time.

The counter stores nothing about you: no IP addresses, no names, no email, no permanent identifiers, no cookies.

From your browser language when it carries a country, otherwise from your time zone, otherwise XX for unknown. We never geolocate you and never read your address — the code is two letters in an aggregate figure.

Your browser creates it on your device as salawat:client and attaches it to every request to the counter, and the server ignores it: it is not stored, not tied to your name or address, and reveals nothing about who you are.

In local storage on your device: your personal daily count, your tasbih progress, and the random identifier. Of these only the identifier is ever sent — and, as you have seen, it is not stored. Clearing the site's data from your browser removes all three and leaves the shared counter untouched.

We set no cookies, and we use no analytics, advertising or fingerprinting. The details are in the cookies policy.

The request travels through Cloudflare, the delivery and security network — see its own privacy policy — and Google Fonts is requested from Google's servers to render the type. Neither party collects anything on our behalf, and we receive no data about you from either.

We do not sell data and do not share it with advertisers or analysts. The figures shown on the site are aggregates: numbers and totals that reveal nothing about any individual.

The site is served entirely over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and any unencrypted request is redirected to it.
